Chalet Rasciesa In Ortisei

Excellent sled run! Prices are reasonable (€44 per day including sled rental). The track is well maintained, cleared and without depressions or fresh snow that hinders passage. The route is very fun and adrenaline-filled, it gives the possibility to do it both quickly and in peace, frequent and fun hairpin bends and curves. The directions on using the sled were very helpful. Friendly, courteous and professional staff. Sleds in perfect condition and of different sizes.

Wonderful and quick. It takes you to see a corner of paradise. Useful in winter for the toboggan run which I recommend you do but be careful because it is very steep. Panoramic train, a jaw-dropping climb.

Great experience. It’s new and they’re still working out the kinks. 1st time we tried to go it was broken, second time the doors wouldn’t open automatically. Had to help the conductor use a key to manually open them a-couple times. Not a big deal, perhaps part of the charm. Beautiful views, sledging was the highlight of our trip (wear helmets) and the view from the top of the Sassolungo is unmatched. Restaurant was excellent. Would recommend.

Very nice funicular but also a little expensive given the short journey it takes you.

The walk from downtown Ortisei to the Resciesa cable car station is all uphill, which can be a bit tiring! There will be road signs on the roadside, just follow them~ It was past 3 pm when we came here, and the cable car would close at 5 pm, so we chose the shortest route: walk to the mountain house restaurant Rifugio Resciesa, which takes about 30 minutes one way. If you have enough time, you can walk a little further to the Santa Croce Church. and the popular viewing point of the Cross Statue further above. The scenery along the way is spectacular!

funicular too expensive €30 return. The Mendola one costs much less.

Perfect for reaching Resciesa from Ortisei…..and then the trekking starts from there

Comfortable, you can enjoy the scenery, there is only one negative side: the high cost, it becomes burdensome for a family

Meraviglia terrazza raggiungibile prendendo il " trenino " funicolare da Ortisei. Abbiamo ordinato dei frutti di bosco e due birre, siamo stati più che soddisfatti. Personale gentile

Bello chalet posto all'uscita della funicolare. Personale molto gentile e sorridente. Stanze poste su due piani, zona giorno e zona notte arredate in legno e molto spaziose, complete di tutto. Servizio veloce. Consumate due ottime cene con menu tipico della zona. Colazione abbondante con prodotti dolci e salati. Il gestore è una persona molto gentile e disponibile. Consigliato.
