Chalet Rasciesa In Ortisei

Meraviglia terrazza raggiungibile prendendo il " trenino " funicolare da Ortisei. Abbiamo ordinato dei frutti di bosco e due birre, siamo stati più che soddisfatti. Personale gentile

Bello chalet posto all'uscita della funicolare. Personale molto gentile e sorridente. Stanze poste su due piani, zona giorno e zona notte arredate in legno e molto spaziose, complete di tutto. Servizio veloce. Consumate due ottime cene con menu tipico della zona. Colazione abbondante con prodotti dolci e salati. Il gestore è una persona molto gentile e disponibile. Consigliato.

It is very nice to go up and down the car.. The area next to the station above has a beautiful restaurant and the view.. The place is good for walking once in a while, but it requires fitness to get up and down.. It is a little tiring for those who are not used to it.. It needs special boots, and you are welcome.. The price is a little exaggerated.. But if you visit Orzi, it is worth a visit

It's the second year I've been going there. I have no words to describe this place, the surrounding landscape looks like a postcard but the thing that makes it really special is the fence-free encounter with hundreds of wonderful horses, cute donkeys and sweet cows. For me it's paradise, I wait all year with the thought and fortunately the joy of being able to go there and experience those truly unique magical moments that are good for the heart. This is followed by a walk to the top of the mountain to thank the crucified Jesus for having given us such extraordinary beauty. Until next time!! 🥰🥰

Compared to the classic gondola lift, chair lift or cable car, this facility does not offer great views outside and personally I don't like it very much. The price is in line with other facilities in the area which however offer scenery that is worth the cost of the ticket. Once you reach altitude you can choose to go left to the Resciesa Refuge and to the cross of the Resciesa di Fuori peak, while on the right a long, easy and splendid walk leads to the solitary and beautiful Malga Brogles.

Very nice. Very expensive, like all the facilities in the area. Attention because ALL the paths connecting Resciesa and Secena are closed. So forget about doing circular tours between the two facilities, unless you can walk for about 100 hours and go around the entire massif. The path that goes down to Ortisei has a very steep section up to Costamula. There you can also take a bus to the town, but it runs every HOUR, even in high season. So... Get organized first because no one will explain these things to you.

Magnificent for a magnificent place

30 euros return on 26 July 2024 Going one way (?) then it happens that if you return separately you still pay €30. This is what I was told by the staff at the ticket office.

Superb, especially the descent if you sit in the front. Unfortunately for certified disabled people they only offer reductions while other places in Trentino do not charge (e.g. Seceda a few hundred meters away); but at least here they asked for certification and still applied a discount.

The Raschötz funicular runs from Ortisei 1300m to 2123m. The high plateau is easy to walk - even for older people who are no longer able to walk so well. Many special alpine flowers can be seen. Male faithful, orchid, groundsel, cat's paw, snow gentian, etc. Beautiful summit cross at the outer end. Two huts with good food. The return trip costs 30 euros. Rather expensive for the 10 minute journey. Still a recommendation. Beautiful panoramic view of the Seiser Alm and the Sassolungo. Please note there are no parking spaces at the valley station. Parking at the Seceda Bahn or in the village. Allow another 15 euros for parking. 10 minutes walk to the train station.
