It's a welcoming place and they serve good food. I STRONGLY advise against ordering cooked potatoes. I found the center of one potato RAW, so I ordered them with the rib. They filled me up with more potatoes than the rest of the food combined. The waiter (the one who looks like a pirate) didn't want me to order the rib, saying I wouldn't finish it. He was mean! Also, you have to raise your voice to speak. It was a bit loud, but that's fine. I'd gladly go back. I honestly recommend it. :)

I don't want to be poor in my judgement. Let's say it's strictly personal and probably it could deserve more considering the look of the plates were served to the other people in my table. However, I ordered a pizza and I didn't enjoy that much. It wasn't bad but there's was too much flour still around. So much to literally dry my mouth and loose the flavour of the bits on top. Also, I found it a bit difficult to digest and I had the same response even from my partner. The restaurant is nice but with some unusual features like a pond with fish between the tables outside. There was a big fridge in a corner with some pieces of meats... honestly, it wasn't that nice to see...

31/08/2025: Unfortunately, for the first time, we were not satisfied... we ordered an appetizer that never arrived... After almost an hour, the two pizzas arrived. Mine was very good, but my partner's was unfortunately undercooked. The bill was correct, and the service was still courteous. We assume it was due to a bad night. The canned beer served was also a good month out of date. We'll be back anyway, because it's always been a reliable place.
24/08/2025: My wife and I were looking for a place to eat. We Googled it and came across Il Fortino di Don Peppe. I'm speechless, go there.
