The Re-Public House in Castronno is a bar that is a bit spartan in appearance, but overall it is a great place to have a drink with friends. Average prices, nice drinks, relaxed atmosphere. It's super convenient for watching football matches or F1 races with friends, there are always screens available on the veranda. The staff is helpful and kind, never intrusive. In particular, the upstairs is welcoming, ideal for relaxing and chatting more calmly. Perfect for an easy evening, without too many pretensions but done well.

Agriturismo Fattoria Canale

15/10/2025: I'm assuming the evening was a charity event. So the menu was already prepared the same for everyone. Appetizer: Cured meats and sweet and sour vegetables, Russian salad, fried gnocchi, and everything was good, average. First course: trio of risottos, which unfortunately I feel like could be improved; little flavor, almost none. Dessert: Chocolate cake, good, but I don't think it's homemade, a bit heavy (like a brownie). Water and house wine. As for the wine, I think it's a matter of taste; I personally wasn't crazy about it. Coffee: good. In conclusion: it's a good place, all in all, the place isn't bad, but the risottos could be improved (there are certainly many other better things). The last thing, which isn't related to the food but which I always check in restaurants, is the bathroom, and I have to say it was quite clean.
