If you are visiting DC and you are asked to select a location with a view of the Potomac and you hear the word "Italian food" and immediately think of healthy portions and a view of the Wharf. Remember this location is a book end on the Wharf (water views are limited). The food is tastier than it appears on the plate and the drinks are okay. Prices and service is standard. The atmosphere can accommodate any comfort level. The theme is an upscale steakhouse. Parking could be a beast. I would suggest prior reservations. There is an elevator.

Had a very enjoyable group dinner in their private dining room upstairs to celebrate a friend's birthday. Food was great and service also.

I would definitely recommend this place for some yummy Italian! The decor and ambiance is a vibe, food was delicious, and service was great! There are a number of places in DC (and the wharf) that are basic/mid, but this is not one of those places!

Drinks were really good. Roof top was close yesterday for an event but they didn't mentioned on their website or social media. Food is not bad, but it is not Italian at all.

Got some cheesecake and tiramisu for take out - was fantastic. Atmosphere is beautiful, and the person at the front was very nice. I do wish the coffee flavor was a little stronger in the tiramisu, but that’s just my preference. Cheesecake was the best I’ve had.

We loved being outside (on the second floor patio) at sunset, especially on a mild spring night. Some great family photos were taken. But everything else was pretty forgettable. The service was generic. As tourists, it was our first visit, but she didn’t ask, didn’t offer any useful info about the restaurant or dishes, didn’t mention any specials, and didn’t ask about the food once she’d brought it. She was however very eager to get our plates taken away, removing my wife’s plate as she was still eating. The food itself was underwhelming and very overpriced. My $28 pasta with scallops included 4 scallops, cut into pieces to look like there was more there. My son’s spaghetti with olive oil was $16. I couldn’t taste the rye in the $18 cocktail I ordered. It was just sour. This feels like a place where you’re paying for the view. It’s not worth the price.

Amatriciana was bland, very little pancetta, WAY too much red onion, and the bucatini was overcooked. Cacio e Pepe is very hard to get right so no one should serve this unless it’s your specialty and not just another sauce on the menu. The pasta with cinghiale was tasty. The mascarpone in the tiramisu was salty and the “ladyfingers” did not seem to have been soaked in espresso. The space is beautiful, though. I liked the Nebbiolo wine. I’ve been there for happy hour aperol spritz and that was fun.
