Characteristic Clean and welcoming

We ate at Diego Bistro and had mixed impressions. The food was really delicious and beautifully presented, but the portions were unfortunately quite small – we even had to reorder to feel completely full. Honestly, for the prices, we would have expected a bit more. The waiter was very friendly and attentive at first, but as the restaurant got busier, he was completely on his own. You could really tell he was overwhelmed – service became slow, orders were mixed up, and at times, he was barely visible. His hairstyle almost perfectly reflected the chaos at the end 😅 It's a shame, because the restaurant itself actually has potential: cozy atmosphere, good food – but too few staff and too small portions significantly tarnish the overall impression.

Very good food, we discovered a little “twist” in every dish

🍷 Dinner with a view, toasts, and a TV-set atmosphere! Under the charming porticoes of Camogli, where some scenes from the series Blanca 🎬 were filmed, we enjoyed a special evening at Diego Bistrot, accompanied by our friend Alberto, who has been a resident of these parts since he was a child 🧒. The welcome was warm: Alberto greeted all the staff like old friends, and we immediately felt at ease. The menu satisfied everyone: I chose a delicious second course of stewed squid 🦑 Alberto opted for a first course with fish sauce 🍝 Milena enjoyed tagliatelle with tuna 🐟 All accompanied by water 💧 and a bottle of Bisson Bianco 2021 🍾, with which we toasted and immortalized the moment thanks to the kind waitress 📸. A simple gesture that made the evening even more memorable. To end on a sweet note: Milena chose an apple crumble 🍏 Alberto and I chose the apricot tart 🍑 🌅 A sea view, a relaxed atmosphere, impeccable service: Diego Bistrot is a must-see for those seeking authentic flavors and memorable moments. And if you're a Blanca fan, you might even recognize some of the set!

Delicious tuna, excellent desserts, and friendly service. The portions aren't huge, but the food is exceptionally delicious!
