We had the ricotta and spinach ravioli, which were very good and well-seasoned; the venison stew, however, was tough and of poor quality. The polenta was rather bland. The service was quick and friendly.

We were welcomed very kindly by Mrs. Cristina. The room was very clean, well-maintained, and completely renovated. We stayed half board, eating breakfast and lunch. The food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and quick. The location was superb. We had a wonderful time, and will definitely be back. Debora and Roberta

An informal but very satisfying lunch! From the à la carte menu, the mushroom bruschetta was fantastic (€8, well spent), as were the rosti with eggs and bacon (€12). The tartare with potato salad from the daily menu was exceptional, definitely worth adding to your list. 😋 The portions and prices were fair (first course, second course, water, wine, and coffee were €25 each).

03/10/2025: The restaurant is located a bit above the touristy restaurants, which are mostly located by the water. However, it's worth going a bit higher behind the church. In summer, you can sit in the lovely inner garden. It was already too cold for us to eat outside. A clear menu with regional specialties. The pasta with porcini mushrooms is SUPER DELICIOUS for early autumn. Don't miss the focaccia. It doesn't get any better! The chestnut cream is also highly recommended for dessert. A wonderful taste experience. Friendly and good service. An insider tip!
03/10/2025: Excellent restaurant in the middle of old Cannobio. Only the Grignolino left something to be desired despite its beautiful appearance.
