A simple location with dormitories. Not overly luxurious, but a beautiful location with a real cabin atmosphere. A fun place to stay overnight.

The Rableid Alm, a textbook alpine pasture! As our penultimate stop in the Pfossental Valley, our hiking group on the Merano High Trail chose this alpine pasture for the night. The hospitality alone, coupled with the beautiful alpine pasture nestled in this magnificent landscape, is enough to warrant 5 stars. On top of that, the fresh and delicious dishes and drinks are offered at reasonable prices. Rounded off with the homemade Vinschgauer pastries for breakfast, it would have earned more than 5 stars! Great surroundings, the best homemade Vinschgau bread. Delicious food and amazing homemade juices.

We stayed here overnight on our hike along the Merano High Trail. The hut is super cozy and the food is excellent. You can feel Heidi and Stefan's passion – they want their guests to feel comfortable and at home. That's exactly what we did. And to top it all off, we were able to watch the milking and cheese-making. AMAZING! We absolutely loved it. Thanks to Heidi and Stefan for the unforgettable evening.

We started at the Jägerrast (hunter's rest stop) and hiked all the way up to the alpine pasture. A truly beautiful and easy hike. We were well looked after at the alpine pasture. Everything was delicious and at incredibly reasonable prices. Thank you for the wonderful day. Best wishes.
