Rableidalm In Senales

We were looking forward to it. But it was closed. (September 14th) Didn't look like it would be reopening anytime soon either.

Super nice (old) Alm, with the best fried potatoes. Top service 👍. The Alm is located in a beautiful valley, surrounded by high mountains just before the ice farms. A steady climb of 300 m in a sunny location is a little more demanding but doable.

The Kaiserschmarren is simply AWESOME!

Very good food (the homemade Paarl bread was excellent), great prices and huge portions. Happy to come back!

Super cozy, rustic room with lovely innkeepers. Overnight stay in a comfortable shared room. Dinner and breakfast were great!

On the way along the Meraner Höhenweg we spent a night on this beautiful alpine pasture. It has a great location in the Pfossental, with a wonderful terrace. We were spoiled with culinary delights by Heidi and Stephan - particularly delicious: Kaiserschmarrn, Paarl bread and great cheese - all homemade! - and were able to learn a lot about mountain farming life and the dairy. The Rableidalm is therefore an all-round perfect starting point for the further route over the Eisjöchl.

Terrific. Best hut on the Meraner Höhenweg. Great food, charming hut, good service. Would come back at any time.

A rustic hut with excellent food. Price-performance ratio is very good. The Kaiserschmarn is a dream, twice as much as at the Eishof-Hütte and much cheaper too. Eishof(15.00€) Rableid (9.00€) An insider tip who wants to eat well and at a reasonable price. The espresso was excellent.
