I'm giving it 3 stars because even though the pizza was good, the service needs improvement. I came for a takeaway pizza, and it was difficult to get a smile or a friendly tone from the man at the till (I think he was the owner). Perhaps he was having a bad night, but welcoming customers is the very foundation of service in a pizzeria, and I felt like I was bothering him. I left with my pizza, saying goodbye and wishing him a good evening, but he didn't respond. Politeness costs nothing, yet it's also what attracts customers.
