Queequeg Cafe' In Biella

23/05/2025: Passing through, for work, to be in company. I couldn't describe this place in the city center of Biella any more, far from the glories of the past where a table was as sought after as it was precious. A reinterpretation therefore successful in the environment, in the splendid summer terrace but very little in the food. Although the dishes have been re-presented on the menu, with the addition of others, in my opinion they are all very "smart" in taste, preparation and last but not least the cost absolutely not proportionate to what is offered. Specifically a tartare plated with a scholastic attitude, combined with risky flavors, an exaggeratedly tiny dessert, a wine too aerated and finally a decidedly long waiting time, for a room that was not even full. I am particularly disappointed because I was also born in Biella, and if despite everything I can recommend it for a frugal meal, I wouldn't say the same for the rest. Rating 4.

10/05/2025: Gorgeous venue. Kind and smiling, they welcomed us like Alpine troops with lots of warmth, good food, excellent wine and very honest prices. Thank you thank you thank you
