We discovered this place in May, during the Bersaglieri gathering in Ascoli. Place full of nice surprises: welcome, food cooked from the heart, work done in the kitchen like at home, with many first courses made by hand... Owner of the place is kind, helpful and friendly... We went to eat with her three times. Very honest prices.

Great food, service and prices!

We found this place by accident. It is located in an alley a stone's throw from the historic center of Ascoli. The place is small but very welcoming (I recommend you book because it has few tables). We immediately felt at home. Pets are also allowed, and our dog was welcomed with a bowl of water, which is not a given. We ordered an appetizer (a platter with really excellent Norcia specialities) and 2 exquisite first courses, 3 beers on tap, 2 of which were really good Belgian abbey beers. They also offered us 3 bitters. Since there was no à la carte menu, we were expecting a high bill, given the quality of the dinner and the service, but instead we paid €40 for the whole thing for two. We left with a smile and coming from Rome we can assure you that we really haven't found a mood like this for a long time. I think it will be our fixed stop for all our next summers in the Marche. A special thanks to the "innkeeper", a kind and helpful person.

Excellent dinner with very tasty croutons, handmade ceppa with Pachino porcini mushroom sauce and courgettes. The rare cut is very tender and tasty.

Truly a pleasant experience. Pleasant location, very friendly and smiling staff, really excellent food. Few dishes but really well made, good fried foods, cooked well with good oil, honest prices. Patience even with small children who are a bit earthquake prone. Really recommended. If I end up in Ascoli again I will definitely go back.
