Let me start by saying there were three of us! We had lunch at 2 pm, based on our choice of venue. The staff were excellent, the food was delicious, from appetizers to coffee! The owner is a wonderful person. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. The food was excellent, masterfully prepared, and the price was excellent.

We were staying here in Ascoli Piceno. The owner of the B&B recommended this, and we were very pleased. The staff was friendly, the price was fair, and the food was satisfying and local. Thank you! We'll definitely be back if we're passing through again.

Just steps from the splendid Piazza Arringo, on a quiet side street off Corso Vittorio Emanuele, lies Osteria Quanto Basta (QB): a small restaurant that captures the authentic soul of Ascoli Piceno.
I had never been to this restaurant before, and the opportunity arose almost by chance: a colleague chose QB to celebrate her birthday, bringing us all together to celebrate in a truly unique setting. A perfect choice.
The restaurant, with its stone walls, is warm, intimate, and welcoming. Being a Saturday night, it was fully booked, and the space felt a bit cramped, but this didn't in the least detract from the convivial atmosphere and the quality of the evening, which was truly enjoyable.
The culinary journey began with a rich selection of appetizers, all of excellent quality: an excellent platter of cured meats and cheeses, a tasty farro and mushroom soup, the ever-present classic Ascolana olives, accompanied by a surprising and highly appreciated spicy truffle version, and the beloved cremini, mushrooms, and fried zucchini. To round it all out, a plate of grilled vegetables and delicious bruschetta, simple yet carefully prepared.
Next, a sampling of first courses: ricotta and spinach ravioli with tomato and mushrooms, delicate and well-balanced, and the simply exquisite mezze maniche alla gricia, one of the most popular dishes of the evening.
The finale was worthy of the entire experience: a succulent and well-cooked tagliata, served with salad, perfect to cap off this wonderful gastronomic experience.
Overall, Quanto Basta QB confirms itself as a small osteria in the historic center, but with a great focus on quality, menu variety, and the attention to detail in its dishes. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive, helping make the evening even more enjoyable.
Compliments to the entire staff for the passion evident in the kitchen and dining room.
A truly positive experience: we'll definitely be back.

I don't always write reviews of places I eat, unless they've particularly impressed me. This is the case with Quanto Basta. The food was truly fresh, excellent quality, and beautifully cooked. It wasn't overly seasoned with oil or salt, which is a plus. The appetizers were varied, and I particularly enjoyed the paccheri with crispy pork shoulder and artichokes. The sliced beef was incredibly tender. The price was reasonable for the food, and even more reasonable, less than I expected. I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be back.
