Maybe it was because we were working up an appetite, but when we went in to buy some local produce, I personally couldn't leave. Top quality, a selection to dig into, and prices... Oh well, quality has its price. The only downside was that it was Sunday and it was right in the city center, so crowded that you had to get a number at the entrance. But a raw ham like this... drool-worthy!

Excellent in Parma for local products

This is definitely a delicatessen I can recommend. I bought a Culatello sandwich and cheese here. I took the train to Milan and ate it in the park for lunch, and it was delicious. I brought the cheese back to Japan and ate it little by little. The prices are a bit high, but since it's difficult for Japanese people to access Italian ham due to quarantine issues, I think this is the best experience ever. Italy is far away for Asians, so Parma may not be a huge destination, but it's definitely worth a visit. The male staff member was very kind and patiently listened to my poor Italian.
