Today we found ourselves taking a walk in Ortigia after we looked for a place to have lunch and above all to be able to make pasta for our daughter (after having gone to 3 places that told us that it was not possible to bring food, a shame) and while walking around we found this excellent place and immediately kind to prepare what for our daughter after which we consumed taking a platter with two excellent drinks we were very happy with my family I highly recommend the place

The service is unique. They are very friendly and always attentive. They spoke to me in Spanish and made me feel much more comfortable. The pasta has a very good flavor. You can taste the shrimp, salt, black pepper, and cilantro. The pasta is well-made. The only thing is that I thought the shrimp would come whole, but it actually had a lot of tomato and chopped shrimp. Delicious! It's nice to be there, and the red wine they have is delicious! It's a nice place to eat.

I was alone because of the pouring rain, but there were large umbrellas available. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich, which was truly one of the best I've ever eaten. I also had a beer, then a glass of house white wine by the glass, which was very good. And all at reasonable prices.

Tonight, we had a most delicious meal comprised of a vegetarian board of small plates (shown in the photo) and a tomato-based pasta dish. Tasty bread was also served. The food was cooked to perfection, with spectacular flavors. We appreciated the vegetarian options, fresh-made pasta, and the excellent friendly and welcoming service provided by the staff. Plus, it's a sweet place with wonderful outdoor seating in a quiet section of the neighborhood. Bravo!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Everyone is always so friendly. Food comes quickly. Prices are great.
Highly recommended for families with small children because they open early and offer breakfast. Scrambled eggs like Grandma made!

We sat down for a drink, but then stayed for a meal which we did not regret. The toast made with peppers and vegetables was very delicious, a salad with ham, watermelon, mozzarella and a pasta with burrata. It was divine. I highly recommend it, it is not a tourist trap.

It sat right on the corner — not exactly hidden, but tucked into the heart of the touristy neighborhood, where souvenir shops spill onto the sidewalks and cameras click nonstop. Still, this little café had a charm that cut through the noise: the comforting hiss of the espresso machine, the hum of conversation, and the scent of brioche drifting into the street.
The first morning I wandered in with friends, I ordered the classic Sicilian granita — almond, of course — with a soft brioche bun for dipping. Sweet, nutty, and refreshingly cold, it was the kind of breakfast that makes you stop and smile. From then on, I came back for more, especially for the coffee, which was consistently excellent. They also have a nice range of savory breakfast items, when the sweet, Sicilian fair becomes too much.
I even ordered cappuccino after 11 a.m. — a small act of defiance in Italy, but one that earned only a friendly grin instead of judgment.
One waiter, a young man named Gionny — dark-haired, quick-moving, and always smiling — had that rare mix of warmth and ease that made every visit feel like coming home.
One morning, when my boyfriend was sick in the hotel, I asked if they might pack up a breakfast for him. They probably don’t do takeaway very often, but they didn’t hesitate. A few minutes later, they handed me a beautifully arranged bag with pastries and coffee — all carefully packed, as if they were sending care and comfort along with the food.
It’s rare to find a café in such a busy area that feels so personal, so genuine. But this one managed it effortlessly — with great coffee, a touch of sweetness, and the kind of kindness that lingers long after you leave.
And yes — it’s as welcoming and LGBT-friendly as it is delicious.
