We did a 8 day trip through Bavaria down to Bolzano Italy, and this was my favorite restaurant! After driving hours in the Alps we were STARVING and needed food as soon as possible. I read the reviews and chose Pretzhof as that place. Everything was so so incredible, honestly some of the most flavorful and food I have ever had. Everything tasted fresh and handmade, Seeing the cows and that view on top of the delicious food made this whole experience phenomenal!

How can I describe it? There's no drinks menu or menu. The proprietor appears in person and rattles off the dishes available that day in seconds. We felt hopelessly overwhelmed and overwhelmed. Especially when you can't calmly think about what you're in the mood for and can't calculate how much this or that dish costs. Perhaps you would call that quaint. Perhaps well-to-do people, for whom price is no object, will turn up their noses at my review. Fortunately, you could see photos beforehand and get a rough idea of ​​what the meal would be. We then opted for a kind of appetizer: dumplings, Schlutzkrapfen, coleslaw. Since we had no idea of ​​the price and were too afraid to ask, we shared it. A bread basket arrived and, commendably, a welcome from the kitchen (a board with ham and mustard). Ultimately, everything tasted very good and was enough for us. Conclusion: This is probably the typical South Tyrolean hut. If you like it, you'll be in good hands here.

Located halfway up a mountain, a truly picturesque spot with breathtaking views, it offers local products with a menu featuring only local meat and game. The menu is varied and very interesting, and is listed verbally by the owner, who takes the lead. The service is fast and precise, the staff is always smiling, and the prices are below average. A charming place to enjoy local delicacies in a relaxing atmosphere. I recommend their cooked ham served with their homemade mustard. A truly unforgettable experience.

Located above Vipiteno, I think it's best during the day with its beautiful views. Very hospitable staff and excellent cuisine. Everything is carefully selected. Excellent wine list.

The Pretzhof is conveniently located on the way home to Germany, a few kilometers from the Sterzing toll booth. If you drive up the small road and park in the car park, you'll pass the cowshed, and you'll be more than surprised by the culinary gem hidden in the building behind it. As you enter, the wine selection immediately shows that this isn't a simple mountain inn. The food and wine selection are top-notch, and the service was very friendly and helpful. There's no menu; the staff explain everything. So, you don't know what the bill will be. It was absolutely fine for us, and we'll definitely be back again.

Nestled in the greenery above Vipiteno, this is a delightful discovery: local dishes prepared with top-quality ingredients. The speck and cheese platter, the ravioli filled with grey cheese (these are absolutely exceptional), and the pork cheek are incredibly tender and flavorful. The wine list is extensive and includes excellent labels. Highly recommended.

Every time we vacation in the Vizze Valley, we stop at least once at the Pretzhof Restaurant. Excellent traditional South Tyrolean dishes, perfectly prepared with their own mountain products. The atmosphere is typically South Tyrolean, very warm and comfortable. The prices are not cheap. You can purchase their products on site or online.

Sehr schön gelegenes gemütliches Restaurant mit Außenterrasse. Es werden zum Teil spezielle Gerichte angeboten, die man sonst nicht so oft findet. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Knödellasagne und als Hauptgericht Secreto vom Schwein - hervorragende Qualität. Dazu werden ausgezeichnete Südtiroler Weine angeboten. Sehr freundliche aufmerksame und nicht aufdringliche Bedienung. Der Chef erkundigt sich persönlich, wie es einem schmeckt. Ein idealer Zwischenhalt auf dem Weg in den Süden!. Wir werden wiederkommen. Es hat nur ein wenig gestört, dass es keine Speisekarte gab. Die Gerichte werden vorgelesen und es fällt schwer, sich die Auswahl zu merken. Außerdem kennt man die Preise der Gerichte nicht. Hier wäre ein wenig mehr Transparenz empfehlenswert. Wir waren gleichwohl mit den Preisen angesichts der ausgezeichneten Qualität einverstanden.
