I went there for lunch with a friend of mine and I highly recommend it! It is a welcoming, clean and homely environment. The food is delicious and the service is quick. We had an appetizer of 6 mixed bruschettas, two EXCELLENT lasagna with sausage, provola and courgettes and finally the dessert which I don't have a photo of because I ate it 😂

The father we don't deserve.
Avezzano is a non-famous place, indeed almost anonymous I would venture, if it weren't for the famous tubers (the Fucino potatoes), now desecrated by an inflated market, and a mix of Umbrian and Lazio pastoral influences (cheeses and cured meats) that belong to it less and less, and then the famous kebab (but that's more of a coastal story), the city would have long since been buried under the vanished hope of an industrial push after the Second World War... a push that has now exhausted its resources and enthusiasm .
But ... and there is a big BUT, there is a place called Postaccio Bacaro Marsicano, where passion meets simplicity and experience becomes immortal tradition.
An oil lamp under the dust that lights up the road, via Corradini to be precise, giving the foreign traveler a taste of what was and what will be the true land where he places his feet.
It would be superfluous to describe the professionalism of the staff, the variety of the menu and above all the rustic environment which blends sensations from Annibale Carracci's The Bean Eater with perspectives of the first Caravaggio, a comparison too risky?... but after all, what is the Is art if not the exaltation of the hidden, secret life where the juice of humanity is drunk in sips until one gets drunk and then vomits with nostalgia for the primate ancestor?
Foods in brief.
The Buongustaio cutting board embodies a journey that the Marsican palate is perhaps already familiar with, but which surprises with some unexpected contaminations, one above all the tasting of egg with bacon and balsamic reduction... but I wouldn't want to ruin the experience for those it will go.
Honorable mention to the award-winning "Carezzaccia" soup, the primary source of inspiration for this review: three ingredients, potatoes, onions and sausage, what can you expect?
A caress yes, but also a condemnation.
We need to stop because words would not be adequate to describe things that must be understood in other ways, with other parts of the body, so I will simply say: don't think twice, this is joy.
All accompanied by a delicious wine that envelops the flavors and makes everything simply apotropaic.
I will return when I need maternal warmth.

Delicious mixed platter, the orange-scented blue cheese is super, the meatballs with meat sauce and peppers are good. Nice atmosphere and friendly welcome.
