Delicious food, a warm and atmospheric place. You can tell it's cooked with love. It'll leave you full, and your wallet happy, because the prices are really low. The place was also extremely clean and beautifully decorated, which is a huge plus; you can tell the owners care about everything. Knowledge of German or Italian would be helpful, as the place doesn't have a menu. I highly recommend it ;)

We had lunch today with two small children, and we'll definitely be back because everything was exceptional.
You can get second courses on both starters and main courses, and the quality/price ratio is excellent.

A nice restaurant, a little dated in terms of the decor, but overall it's a good setting. The food was very good (desserts, however, were below expectations). We had pizzoccheri, their signature dish, and polenta with various dishes. The set menu is excellent. The only downside is the speed of service. It was too fast between courses, with the waiters asking for more food as soon as you finished your plate. We finished lunch (Sunday) in an hour.

A pleasant discovery, even though we've been going here for years. I don't understand how such an elegant setting, friendly and helpful staff, and excellent food have received such negative reviews. It was our first time, and it certainly won't be our last.
We recommend trying the pizzoccheri, among the best I've ever had, and the chestnut tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, which are delicious.

We stopped by briefly in the morning and reserved a table for seven with the chef (who even speaks a little German).
What awaited us that evening was simply perfect. There were three courses of classic Italian cuisine. There's no à la carte menu; you eat what's put on the table.
But the meal was fantastic.
Delicious pasta, tender meat, and of course, dessert, which you could then choose. Oh yes, there were seconds for every main course. And all of this with super-fast and friendly service. It was simply a perfect evening.
