A nice restaurant, a little dated in terms of the decor, but overall it's a good setting. The food was very good (desserts, however, were below expectations). We had pizzoccheri, their signature dish, and polenta with various dishes. The set menu is excellent. The only downside is the speed of service. It was too fast between courses, with the waiters asking for more food as soon as you finished your plate. We finished lunch (Sunday) in an hour.

A pleasant discovery, even though we've been going here for years. I don't understand how such an elegant setting, friendly and helpful staff, and excellent food have received such negative reviews. It was our first time, and it certainly won't be our last.
We recommend trying the pizzoccheri, among the best I've ever had, and the chestnut tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, which are delicious.

We stopped by briefly in the morning and reserved a table for seven with the chef (who even speaks a little German).
What awaited us that evening was simply perfect. There were three courses of classic Italian cuisine. There's no à la carte menu; you eat what's put on the table.
But the meal was fantastic.
Delicious pasta, tender meat, and of course, dessert, which you could then choose. Oh yes, there were seconds for every main course. And all of this with super-fast and friendly service. It was simply a perfect evening.

Good value for money for this trattoria near Colico. I really appreciate the passage between the tables with the trays to ask for seconds or if you want the food on the tray that is being served to everyone. In very few trattorias do this form of service be used, I repeat, very much appreciated in my opinion. Excellent meat main courses, braised meat and stews, good taragna polenta with melted cheeses inside, excellent homemade desserts. Next time I will return to try the pizzoccheri. They want to book in advance by phone when you book the table. I highly recommend this top restaurant.
