06/05/2025: I went to this restaurant during my short stay in Naples as a tourist for my boyfriend's birthday, since when searching for the best fish restaurant in Naples this little gem was mentioned and I can confirm that it deserves all the fame it has. We called to book and found a seat at 10.30pm, although we arrived earlier at 10.10pm the owner seated us immediately, the food was sublime, from the starter, to the first course and to the second course. I would have liked to try their desserts but the portions are very generous so I was satisfied even though I had shared the starter and the first course. Everything was delicious, balanced flavours, the frying was crunchy and not at all greasy, it's the first time in my life that I've found it so perfect and I've eaten so many, I also appreciated the fact that it was served with two generous slices of lemon and not just one as often happens, which isn't enough anyway. I want to make a note of merit to the Pakistani waiter who took our order advising us on the correct order of arrival of the dishes, polite, precise, sweet and always with a smile, he was never still all evening, always busy and yet he always kept an eye on all the tables to take away the empty plates and to check if the customers needed anything else, despite having difficulty with the language he put all his effort into it and it showed in every gesture. The other Pakistani guy was also friendly, great staff. I wish I had more cash so I could give both of us a good tip, unfortunately I use my card a lot. Furthermore, I would like to point out that we witnessed a truly unpleasant scene when two customers who were next to us (it seemed like they were regulars as they called the owner by name, red-haired girl and dark-haired boy) treated the Pakistani waiter who also served us very badly and made fun of them, because they refused to let him take their order, but despite this he continued to serve them with kindness, care and with a toothy smile. When we went to the cash register to pay, the owner apologized for not paying much attention to us, shaking our hands with a huge smile when we left, wishing us a good evening and stopping to talk to us for 5 minutes and speaking well of his staff. I loved it, and I appreciated that the waiter defended it, it made me feel the true Neapolitan warmth. 100% recommended if you want to feel pampered in every way and please leave a tip, when you are treated so well it is a must! 💙 a hug to everyone, you made my partner happy on his birthday, I won't forget you!
06/05/2025: Found by chance after a long walk in Naples from Corso Garibaldi to the Mergellina seafront towards Posillipo. Small environment but which offers great quality of the menu offered and great courtesy from the owner. Lucky to still find locations that offer tradition with quality and courtesy. Fabulous fried and grilled. Truly many compliments.
