Simple dishes but truly excellent quality!! Must try and return!

While on vacation in Lampedusa, we stumbled upon (and returned several times) this restaurant, located on a side street off Via Roma, looking for simple, traditional dishes. The staff were kind and friendly, and the service was top-notch and fast. And the food... as a Sicilian who's lived in the north for a few years, I felt right at home. It's a bit like when you go to your grandmother's and she makes you your favorite dish. The classic appetizers, like arancini, panelle, and croquettes, are also available, as are salads, sandwiches, bruschetta, and meat. The veal and horse meatballs are a definite hit! Greetings to the staff.

Good burgers and bruschetta, efficient service, good value for money.

For a simple dinner near the church, we had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious chicken salad, served with a small bag of soft bread and two sandwiches with excellent quality meat. I loved the idea of ​​being able to dress the salad myself with all the sachets of oil, vinegar, and spices they provide. My salad was superb! Since it's made in Sicily, I would have preferred the croquettes made by them and not frozen. The panelle were good, but a little overcooked.

For a dinner with quality meat it is ideal!

Sandwiches, salads, bruschetta, and meat: everything was delicious. The staff were helpful and courteous.

Everything was so good, fast despite the August holidays and very available for further requests ❤️
