A lovely bar in the center of Spotorno. The staff is young, friendly, and professional.

I've never eaten at Pole Pole because I've always only stopped there for an aperitif or a post-meal amaro, so my 3/5 rating for the food is based solely on the presentation of the pizzas and the like. It's true, as other reviews have stated, that once you're seated there's a wait, but not always that long. The worst wait this year, in my opinion, was due to the new waiters' lack of knowledge—I didn't find them in many previous years—about crodini and cocktails in general. When I asked about an amaro I was curious about (for example, its composition, herbs rather than citrus, not its origin), the waiter ran around asking everyone else, thus prolonging the wait. So much so that, since I couldn't get to the table, I looked it up myself online, as the waitress later told me she had done when she returned to our table. Until last year I would have given 4 stars for the preparation or perhaps simply for the experience of the same waiters who have been there for years, today I don't go higher than 3.

Excellent experience, highly recommended. The place is very beautiful and well-kept. The food is excellent and high-quality. The service deserves an extra star: friendly and impeccable. It's hard to find such qualified people around.

I'm on holiday in Spotorno and every morning I have breakfast in this bar. I would say that the girls are all very kind and the girl who makes the cappuccinos makes them wonderfully good.

Excellent problem-solving skills Everyone makes mistakes: even though I've been going to Pole for a long time, this evening I received a dish that was completely salty. A clear mistake. A mistake that can happen. I was hungry, so I thought waiting for a new dish would be a wait I didn't want to endure. The staff, however, were kind, attentive, and quick to understand the problem. They repeatedly offered to remake my dish, and after my third refusal, they decided to offer me dinner directly, apologizing to the kitchen. I appreciated it, very much, and I think it's a lesson in style and professionalism. Which is not to be taken for granted. Well done!
