Poldo is now an institution in Borgo San Paolo, a pizzeria that has been open for many years, where it is always nice to return. A simple place, with paper tablecloths and a slightly old-fashioned atmosphere, but the pan pizza is excellent. The farinata is good. It's a shame that the desserts are packaged by Bindi and not prepared internally. Kind and smiling staff, fast service.

Returned last night after a long time. Fantastic farinata, it is its strong point. Two pan pizzas, a Margherita and one with grilled vegetables, very soft, the aubergines should be cut thinner because they remain too watery. A medium draft beer. Fast service, always full and known for years in the San Paolo district.

Every time I come to Turin from Rome where I live I go to Poldo.
First class farinata to eat before pizza: a legend, crunchy and tasty.
Then I always take the pan pizza because it is better than the peel pizzas which are black underneath due to the burnt flour on the oven surface.
These, however, are higher and fried slightly underneath and the iron pan, cleaned every time, guarantees that there is no black under the pizza.
That little bit of oil on the pan before cooking allows for a light browning underneath.
I recommend the pizza at Castelmagno.
