Plaza Bread & Beer In Catania

I stayed a few days with my family at the Plaza Hotel for the first time, and I want to share our experience. The room (a triple) was spacious, with all the comforts, a nice bathroom, and very clean. The food was fresh and delicious, with a variety of options for both lunch and dinner, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic—it had it all! The cleanliness was excellent, not only in the rooms but throughout the hotel, both inside and out. We'd like to focus on the staff: top-notch, from the front desk, to all the waiters (especially Maria, who looked after us), to the room service staff, to the bartenders Luca and Aurora—all truly knowledgeable, extremely kind, and always ready to satisfy any need and exchange a few words and a smile, making us feel "at home." A special thanks to Alessandro, a very young but extremely knowledgeable man, who looked after us from the moment we requested a quote with extreme professionalism and courtesy and greeted us with truly kind words. We hope to be back soon because it's definitely worth it. Thank you all!

I've been returning to this hotel with my family for many years. Everything is there to make our stay unforgettable: kindness, professionalism, comfort, excellent restaurant, beachfront, attentiveness to last-minute requests, and wonderful surprises. Alessandro, the receptionist, is top notch.

My daughters spent many childhood summers here, and each time we experience the same special welcome that makes us feel at home. The service is always impeccable: the staff is not only extremely kind and helpful, but also anticipates our needs, making every stay truly unforgettable. Their friendliness and attentiveness make all the difference and explain why we always love returning. Courtesy and customer care are top notch. If you want to feel pampered, this is the place to be and the prices are very reasonable...we will definitely be back.

We were your guests on June 1st and 2nd on the occasion of the master class with Maestro Muti in Ravenna, present in your structure as a group of choristers with great satisfaction.

At the reception everyone is very, very friendly and helpful: you can feel a real attention to the needs of the customer, something that is no longer a given. I take away one star for the breakfast, typically Italian, with lots of cakes and sweets, but lacking in fruit. Even ordering in advance, I was served the same old apple, and I had to ask to change it. No fruit salad, nor variety. A real shame, considering that in the nearby shops you can find fresh fruit of all kinds: colorful, juicy and inviting. A small improvement in this aspect would make the experience really complete, at least for us Swiss :-)
