Pizzeria u Cinesi In Locri

A nice environment for a meal. Service was good but the pizzas were tasty but somewhat inconsistent across the table with some overcooked and some undercooked. We did bring this to the attention of the staff and they rectified it without fuss.

We had dinner here last night on the beautiful terrace with lights adjacent to the garden of the "villa" in Locri. We've been coming here every summer for years. It's simple but very charming, and the staff and owners are very kind and professional. The pizza is a real thin crust pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven, with excellent dough, even with multi-grain options (sorry, but I'm starting to hate the fake gourmet pizzas that are so trendy these days). Excellent ingredients and a varied selection of white and red pizzas, all truly excellent, as well as the pinsa. Highly recommended, a guarantee.

The atmosphere is very welcoming and charming. The staff is friendly but disorganized. You can't wait two hours for a few appetizers.
