What I search for on Map when I want to eat authentic, traditional cuisine in generous portions is always the word "osteria" or "trattoria." Luckily, this time I was really lucky because my search led me to Trattoria da Pinuccio, and it's exactly what I was looking for. Bucatini alla matriciana and rigatoni carbonara, with battered artichoke appetizers: simple, plentiful, and everything al dente, just the way I like it—a true delight. The only disappointment is that I'm only passing through Rome, and it will be difficult to eat here again. As a Milanese accustomed to the robotic service of apathetic waiters on the verge of suicide, I also appreciated the colorful display of affection and attentiveness from the chef's son who waits at the tables. Great place, highly recommended 👍

Education, professional... pizza from times gone by highly recommended

I met some friends for lunch here recently, I had never been there before. We were greeted warmly and chown to a table. The draft beer was cold and refreshing and the other guys took the house wine. We started with "Carciofi alla Judea" which if you have never tried then you really should!!! And then we had 3 different pasta dishes and mine was fantastic, cachio and peppe. And all this including coffee for less than 30 Euro per head!! Great food, drink, service and value for sure!!! And ps they also have outside seating for the good weather.

A top Roman pizza, digestible, some fried vegetables that are absolutely worth tasting and excellent service, pleasant and friendly staff! Good quality and price.... but for me the quality is higher than the price!

Warm welcome, very quiet environment. The managers are very nice and friendly. Waiting times maybe a little long but worth it. The fried calamari and prawns were good, while the scampi cream risotto was exceptional, and also in a generous portion. One of the best first courses I've ever eaten in my life, I will definitely come back to eat it again. The desserts are also excellent.
