Extremely tasty Pizza and Calzone! We had a small conversation wth the chef. The service was great. And the Calzone was so great I'm already planning to take another trip to Italy to pay the visit here ;) A slight negative - there's no toilet available.

A small but nice pizzeria. We each took a slice of every pizza they had. Everything was delicious and fresh. The selection wasn't that large. However, we were there after work, so it's possible that a lot of it was simply gone.

Nice little pizzeria. Unfortunately, it's right on the main road, so we took the pizza to go. The three pizzas were extremely tasty and well-topped. The price was absolutely amazing at only €10. Unfortunately, we have to go back, otherwise we definitely would have gone there again.

05/08/2025: Welcoming place, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food. I've rarely tasted such high-quality fish, cooked to perfection. The side of tasty vegetables (not frozen) deserves special mention. I'll definitely be back.
12/07/2025: We had lunch on a Saturday. Despite arriving significantly late due to a traffic jam on the highway, the owner was very kind in holding our reservation, and the staff had no problem serving us past the afternoon closing time. The food, as always, was excellent. We ordered seafood risotto and mixed grill. We'll definitely be back; Ippopotamus is a must-visit for us every time we're in Marina di Massa.

14/10/2025: A restaurant that amazes with the quality and quantity of its fresh fish, and attentive but unobtrusive staff. The location is close to the sea and a gently flowing stream. The overall effect is very pleasant.
