03/03/2025: Yesterday, after a walk in the center of Rovigo, discovering the Carnival atmosphere, we thought we'd stop at the bar before returning home. This pastry shop was on the way to the car park, we're thinking of entering here: the location is facing the street, a building on the corner of another street, the internal lighting is dim, people entering and leaving. For 18.80 Euros (as per the receipt) we got: 1 fairly bitter coffee, 1 hot chocolate without cream, very brothy and not very tasty, 1 ace juice, 7 pancakes filled with pistachio chantilly cream. They serve Dersut products, and it has always seemed to me to be a guarantee as a brand, but the coffee and chocolate were not at the top, the pancakes were good even if they were small but nothing exceptional if we think of a pastry shop. The interior is very dated, with worn tables and tavern-style stools, the pastry counter half-empty (I understand it's Sunday, but if you call yourself a pastry shop!), the sweets fridge is nice but with little choice, acceptable waiting times. 3 stars of encouragement, this place could do with a bit of updating, it seems to have been stuck in the 80s! Even the products seem to come from that era, but then the permanent Christmas decorations cannot be seen! Friendly staff, but it needs a bit of verve: perhaps it's time for a nice renovation to instill enthusiasm.
26/02/2025: Traditional coffee/pastry shop. Excellent product quality. It has far exceeded fifty years of activity.
