Pizzeria Stern In Prato allo stelvio

I didn't stay overnight at the inn, but I enjoyed the food in the restaurant all the more, and I can only say: Great

Good and cozy restaurant hotel, good food and drinks.

🙂 • Central location in Prato allo Stelvio, right next to the SS38 road leading to the Stelvio Pass and the Val Venosta Merano - Passo Resia cycle path. • Private parking and bicycle storage. • On-site catering (both restaurant and pizzeria). • I stayed in a single room, which wasn't too small, was spotless, and had a well-appointed, modern bathroom (both toilet and shower). • Classic continental breakfast with a decent selection of good-quality products (both savory and sweet). • Friendly and welcoming staff who go out of their way to accommodate guests' requests: always with a smile. • For a two-star property, and considering the prices of accommodations in the area, it offers excellent value. 🙁 • The reception isn't always manned during the day. However, there was always staff available during peak hours (afternoon check-in and morning check-out). • Personally, I think the scheduled breakfast time (7:30) is too late. • The carpet in the room, although clean, had wear and tear stains. • The food served in the restaurant is heavily influenced by South Tyrolean culinary tradition, and I personally didn't appreciate everything. • The portions served in the restaurant are very generous. Guests unfamiliar with the restaurant should be informed when ordering. • Some staff members struggled to speak Italian, and when they did, it was difficult to understand, both at reception and in the restaurant.

I stopped for lunch after a bike ride. Good location and good value.

Very good and manageable cuisine with a very extensive pizza menu. The pizzas are about 35 cm in diameter and very tasty, all freshly prepared. The tiramisu is world-class. The dumplings (bacon, cheese, and spinach with melted butter and Parmesan cheese) as a starter and main course are extremely delicious. Prices are, in my opinion, moderate and not too expensive. A definite recommendation 👍👍👍👍👍👍

We went there again and were thrilled! Pizza perfect, incredibly delicious from the stone oven! Apricot dumplings were a dream... Very friendly and attentive staff, everything was spotlessly clean.

Very tasty pizza, unfortunately I waited almost an hour for it.

A meal before the attack on the Stelvio. Remember that in Prato they have an afternoon siesta and not everything is open.
