Pizzeria Sfizio In Vetralla

03/10/2025: Our stay was okay. Not bad but definitely not what we expected. We stayed two nights (as part of our walk along the Via Francigena) and I would not stay here again. Our room and bed were nice. Dinner was good but not great and it took forever (30+ minutes between 1st and 2nd course) and all our food was warm but not hot. The breakfast had a lot of pastries, store-bought yogurt, some soft apples and not much else - not even eggs or granola (I question the whole zero-kilometer food concept they promote). Overall, we didn’t really feel much warm hospitality- we honestly did not even get a “welcome” when we arrived or a “thank you” when we paid. (Although the young lady who did breakfast was very friendly). If you stay, I would avoid the meal options. As a pilgrim walking the VF, it’s not worth the extra kilometers.

10/08/2025: Beautiful, quiet property surrounded by greenery. Thanks to the hospitality of the entire family, you feel right at home. Excellent breakfast with homemade cakes, pies, and much more. Ditto for dinner. Everything was delicious, including locally sourced vegetables. Comfortable and welcoming rooms. Beautiful view and lovely pool. Thank you. We always love to return.
