Pizzeria San Leonardo In Viterbo

A well-maintained restaurant with a private room. Shallow Roman-style pizzas emerge from the wood-fired oven. The Margherita was well-cooked and beautifully topped. The mixed antipasto platter was delicious and plentiful, with bruschetta, both plain and with tomato, a delicious cheese with honey, boiled potatoes with pesto, three types of cured meats, and a small bowl of tripe. We accompanied it all with a fragrant focaccia. Friendly staff and fast service. The price was fair for the location, quality, and quantity of food. I would return and recommend it.

For me the best pizza in Viterbo has always and forever. Excellent ingredients, cooking and leavening.

I have been coming to San Leonardo for years. The place has changed (it is located as the crow flies below the old one) and is very nice and welcoming, the pizza is fabulous with light dough and quality ingredients, the legendary Attilio is always at the top! The only small flaw (but those who frequent it know it) is the slightly above average wait.

Since 1988. Not only fantastic pizza, but also excellent cuisine and desserts. 🎉
