Had a quick lunch today with two schiacciatine, truly excellent, with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Despite the lunch rush, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the place was clean. The only thing that needs work is the exhaust system, which is very smokey.

In my opinion, it's the best pizza I've ever eaten, somewhere between classic and Roman. The price is very fair, and the girls serving are all super nice and kind. If I could, I'd give it 6 stars.

Very good pizza.... But the "cecina", a typical Livorno chickpea-based dish, is truly superb... absolutely worth trying.

Renowned for its chickpea cake, which has lived up to its reputation—amazing cecina! It's easy to find, but reservations are highly recommended as it's very popular. In addition to the traditional chickpea cake, you can also enjoy pizza and schiaccine, which are okay, but not as good as the cecina. The place is simple and modest, with plenty of outdoor tables. Parking is easy to find.

Panigacci

03/08/2025: Excellent food in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. During our stay on Elba, we chose Panigacci almost every night. Their specialty is panigacci, both boiled and cooked. These are not local to the island, but rather from Lunigiana, but have a special flavor on Elba. The octopus, fried fish, and grilled meats are excellent. The bill is the final highlight of a pleasant evening.
02/08/2025: A wonderful experience. Watching the chef bake the panigacci in the large oven in the garden, and then tasting them while they're still hot... We also recommend the squid ink risotto and the purple potato gnocchi with scampi and pistachios. Friendly staff and a relaxing location.

27/08/2025: A regular stop every year, for several years. A fixed menu based on the catch, service at fixed times for everyone, under a beautiful pergola featuring different grape varieties. Paola and her family are, as always, kind and welcoming, serving simple but well-prepared dishes. Always available and attentive to children's needs. Highly recommended.
