Self-service and a relaxed atmosphere, because it's street food. The food was excellent: we had calzones, arancini, pizza a portafoglio, and pasta with pancetta and provola cheese. They were simply SUPERLATIVE!!!! WHEN YOU LEAVE THE POMPEII RUINS, STOP BY ZIO CARMINE FOR HIS FRESHLY MADE DELICACIES. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! I had two trays prepared to take home for dinner. A rose among thorns, this place is what you want for a quick delicious meal. My boys and I took a 10 minute walk and found this gem. Fantastic food and a great local atmosphere.

Great place to grab a pizza frittata and a nice cold Peroni. Good prices, good service. Right in front of the entrance/exit to Pompei Scavi.

22/09/2025: Had breakfast at this cozy restaurant for 10 days. Every morning you're greeted with a smile and served. An Italian breakfast consists of a sweet croissant (optionally filled with chocolate or cherries) and a cup of coffee (espresso, Americano, or cappuccino). The freshly squeezed orange juice is also excellent. The staff is TOP-NOT-PRICE! Peter & Hanita.
18/09/2025: Everything was good, polite kind staff, variety of sweets, good coffee, BUT they charge you for taking a sit on everything you ordered a little bit. So the price is different from taking a sit or standing at bar. And if they had salty items would be better too.
