I've known this place for a while, but it's been a while since I've been. Family atmosphere. This time I brought some friends and we had pizza, which I have to say is always excellent!!! Pizza, beer, sweet coffee, and bitters. We had, I hope, €23 each, which isn't exactly bad. We didn't have to wait for a table because I booked during the week. I highly recommend it.

We had dinner with friends on Saturday night. The place was very pleasant and clean, with excellent service and quick ordering. We ordered pizzas and mixed fried fish, and I have to say, they were excellent! The only downside, if I may say so, was the smell of... pizza on our clothes!

This is one of those restaurants worth shortlisting for big groups on a budget. The location is nice, though the toilets could use a little refresh. The pizza selection is quite extensive, there’s definitely something for everyone. The menu was fish-based when I visited, and the prices were very reasonable. The quality could be a bit better, but improving it would probably mean higher prices. The service and food aren’t awful. If I were planning a cozy dinner with a small group, I might choose somewhere else, but if I were invited here, I certainly wouldn’t regret it. For large groups, though, this place is definitely worth considering.

20/06/2025: Great Discovery: The Older Tower: Flavor and Versatility! I had lunch at The Older Tower and I must say it was a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere is very welcoming and refined, suitable for both a quick lunch and more relaxed occasions. I was struck by its versatility: you immediately understand that it's a place where you can stop for breakfast, lunch, dinner, an aperitif, or even to celebrate events. As for the food, I started with a delicious Trapanese-style pasta: the flavor was authentic and the ingredients were fresh, a truly excellent dish. For my second course, I chose the lemon chicken, and it was simply exquisite! Tender, flavorful, and with a perfect lemon scent, definitely worth trying. The service was courteous and attentive, and the staff was always helpful and smiling. The value for money is excellent, considering the quality of the dishes and the pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend The Older Tower to anyone looking for a versatile place to eat well, whether for a quick lunch or a special occasion. I will definitely be back to try breakfast or an aperitif!
