We happened upon Albissola Marina and were looking for a beach to stay at, and we found a great beach. I'm not kidding when I say it's one of the best beaches I've ever been to; you have everything you need, and for all the services it offers, you pay neither too little nor too much; it's just the right amount for everything. Perhaps many beaches should first look at this one before quoting prices and then ask questions. So let's start with the owner, whose politeness and kindness are rare in Liguria, a smiley person willing to explain everything you want without making you feel like you're being inappropriate (I repeat, many beaches should swear by this, and learn how to be welcoming too; let's not bring up the idea that we're naturally inhospitable, because it doesn't work). The owner, after checking the availability of loungers and umbrellas on a computer, gives you options in a row with prices after you've decided. However, the price includes your cabin (you read that right, not the shared one, yours with a key), after which you find your spot and are at peace. Inside the lido, you'll find a restaurant. I didn't use it, but judging by the smells and the people eating, it's more than good. Inside, you'll also find lockers where you can charge your phone, a card locker, and a lockable locker where you can store valuables and helmets. Want to venture out into the sea? No problem! From the photos I posted, you'll see that you can rent a dinghy (no boating license required) at various prices. You'll need to book in advance, however. You can also rent a stand-up paddleboard (SUP) and a canoe. And if you simply want to relax and swim on the beach, you're in the right place. Or if you want to take a dip in the pool (you have to pay to enter, and you can only enter during certain hours). There are also swimming lessons for children and water aerobics for older children, with a maximum capacity of 20 people. Showers? Whatever you want, cold or hot (hot water requires a token, available at reception). Are your feet dirty? There's a fountain to clean them, and finally, there's a restroom, which is spotless! Do you have kids? That's fine; you have options to keep them entertained and not get bored. In short, don't hesitate and come to this wonderful beach.

Impeccable management, excellent service, and customer care. An excellent restaurant. A family that runs it with care and attention. A great place for families; for those who want to relax and those who want to be active. Excellent!

Hospitality guaranteed and good food

Mid-August at this beach: wonderful. Booking a spot online was a great idea, and prices are in line with other local beaches. The beach is sandy and the water is crystal clear. In fact, many people said the water was very clean, which makes me think it's not usually as clear. I'll be back to check it out. I saw people eating food brought from home, but honestly, the bar-restaurant is truly excellent, and I recommend eating there (the photo shows the fritto misto, delicious, costing €20; we also had the spaghetti with clams, delicious, costing €18). Four stars only for the view (you can see a platform in the distance).

Fabulous dishes, wonderful fried fish, not to mention the fantastic ice cream, a place I highly recommend to everyone
