Excellent pizza, made on the fly, at a decent price. The pizza chef is friendly, and the receptionist is kind and helpful.

What delicious pizza and what a great location) if you are going to or from Bologna airport on foot, you should definitely eat here! The prices are very reasonable, any pizza is around 10 euros plus/minus. They cook very quickly in the oven. The pizza itself is simply huge, my wife and I ate one between us and were full all evening, right up to our flight.

I am Spanish and I came to Italy with some friends to spend a few days. We ate here before going to the airport and loved the Marguerita pizza. Good price considering the portions. €17 duo pizzas

21/07/2025: We travelled from Ireland (via Madrid) to see ACDC in Imola. We arrived late and were so hungry after all the travelling. I googled "good pizza," and these guys came up. 10 minute walk from hotel. There are not enough stars in the review for the pizza I got. I went for the "big pizza" that's what it is called. My goodness, i didn't stop thinking about it the whole next day. I will be visiting these guys as much as possible while im here. I dont know what I will do when I get home again, I suppose Bologna is only a 2 hour flight and a 2 hour train trip away. We'll worth it in my opinion. If in Bologna,make this a priority stop. Don't let the big guy at the door be off putting, he is lovely. Very polite. Keep up the good work guys.

Trattoria Al Cappone

02/03/2025: There were four of us for lunch. I was intrigued by several negative reviews and many positive ones! I find all the negative ones defamatory; perhaps everyone is used to eating at Cracco's. Leaving aside this little opinion of mine... we ate very well; the truffle-filled first courses were excellent, and the meat was very tender and cooked to perfection. The service was fairly quick, considering we ate in about an hour. The only thing we didn't like was the house wine, but even that's subjective. Will we go back?! YES!
