Friendly, precise service. It's a shame the pizza arrived cold and was a bit rubbery. Also, because of the limited toppings, the pumpkin cream wasn't noticeable. Given the price of €12, I expected more. It's a shame I had high expectations.

I was really pleased with this pizzeria! The atmosphere is welcoming and attentive, the staff is friendly and attentive to their customers' needs. The pizza was a pleasant surprise: light, well-leavened dough, perfectly cooked, and fresh, high-quality ingredients. The menu offers a good variety, from classics to more unusual options, all carefully prepared. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. Highly recommended for both a dinner with friends and a family evening. I'll definitely be back!

This was a great surprise. It looks like a really simple restaurant, totally unpretentious but the food is really good + a topping of very nice and attentive staff. We went to the Ferrari museum and wanted to get away from the mess of Maranello for some quieter place to eat and found just what we wanted. Tried the pizza and also the “pucce” (sort of a local round filled bread) which was a good suprise. Congrat to Giulio and staff!!

07/09/2025: It's been years since I've been here...I have to say the pizza here is phenomenal...very good and light.
02/09/2025: I really have to give a shout out to Marcello Pizzeria. A true institution and a point of reference: in Carpi for 67 years! We showed up in August without a reservation (there were few people) and were seated right away. We ordered a couple of pizzas, including the special Marinella with the addition of grilled smoked ham (after baking). Pizza Marinella: Tomato puree, shredded burrata, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil, black pepper, oregano, and extra virgin olive oil. After a short wait, the pizza arrived, and it was truly delicious; not a single crumb was left. The pizza is Neapolitan-style, thin in the center with beautiful edges. Excellently cooked in a wood-fired oven! In the end, the bill surprised us: only €27 for two people, including drinks. The only flaw in this place, in my opinion, is the inadequate soundproofing. Even though the room was half empty and the door to the outside was open, the volume of the voices was high.

Pizzeria Vesuvio

04/09/2025: The pizza was excellent as always, a guarantee for many years now. Five stars also for the waiter Antonio, for his professionalism but above all for his kindness.
18/08/2025: I tried Vesuvio pizzeria in Modena and can say I've finally found authentic Neapolitan pizza. The dough is made with great care and left to rise for a full 48 hours, which is immediately noticeable: light, soft, digestible, and with that typical aroma of properly made pizza. Each pizza is made from a ball weighing about 300 grams, so it's hearty: just one will fill you up without any problem. The texture is perfect, with a high, soft, and well-aired crust, just like in Naples. The cooking is also impeccable, with the right balance between softness and crunchiness on the bottom. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality, from the tomatoes to the fiordilatte cheese to the canned anchovies; the combination with the dough makes every bite a pleasure. Personally, I found it to be one of the best Neapolitan pizzas I've ever eaten outside of Naples. If you're looking for authenticity, flavor, and a passion for authentic Neapolitan pizza, Vesuvio Modena is a must-try.
