19/01/2026: Emilio, the owner, was immediately available and friendly as soon as he saw us come in. He let us choose a table, and we took advantage of the opportunity to get one for six, but there were only two of us; it wasn't as crowded as the last time we came, so we were comfortable.
Valentina, smiling and attentive, immediately offered us a taste of the IMPACCHIUSE potatoes, a local specialty.
If I have to point out a flaw, I can only complain about the speed of service.
I had a lamb tagliata on a red-hot griddle, which I had already had the first time; I remembered it as fantastic, and it once again confirmed Vernante's unique 450-day tradition of goodness.
My other half had a Margherita with porcini mushrooms, exceptional; for us Neapolitans, it was a real surprise.
They were great, friendly, and very fast.
Our favorite place in Rende.
In the summer, being outside will be even more pleasant.
I forgot, they also offered us a Nutella donut 😋😋😋😋😋 at the end.
I forgot to bring a portion of zucchini flower fritters upon arrival, just to please 💯
