Excellent experience from Lionello to Succivo. One of the very few places where you can find both cartwheel and gourmet pizzas of the highest caliber.
I absolutely recommend the provola and pepe a cartwheel, but above all the Sogni di Latte pizza... Unexpected explosion of flavours!

The perfect pizza dough.
This is how the quality of the pizza at the pizzeria da Lionello can be summarized.
Perfect cooking with the base cooked but not burnt, the well-blended edge perfect, the quality of the ingredients excellent.
We took the "mortadella" and the "mydad", famous for being the pizza that came first in the pizza championship.
Score 10 and praise.
It's a shame that these pizzas are becoming more expensive, reaching up to €15 each, a bit much for a pizza, but in this case it was worth it!
Don't miss the omelette as an appetizer.
The restaurant is large and spacious in a modern style, with good guarded parking available in front of the restaurant.
If you arrive late, be prepared for a long wait, you have to wait to taste the pizza lady!
Too bad the service isn't exactly high quality but it doesn't matter.

He had nothing different from the Neapolitan style as he speaks in the videos, disappointing was the square dad which was with aubergine parmigiana as he made it at home, it was fried aubergines full of oil...horrible. Grumpy waiters the only question we were asked was if we could take it order, you can't see the answer button (too bad the internet line was down, the only ignorant person who didn't know was him) better keep the Comi people quiet. Frittatas total 150/180 grm inside only mozz tomato non-existent peas cooked just barely but so chopped that you struggle both to see it and to taste it

We went to Lioniello this evening, with very high expectations. I thought I'd raise the bar even further compared to other excellent pizzerias I've tried, but actually no, there are and I've tried other pizzerias without such a bombastic name that are actually superior in terms of dough and overall final product. Having said that this pizza is good with good quality of the products used but don't expect you to go there and try the top because it's not like that, there is better!!!!

I returned to Lionello, one of the best-known pizza chefs on the new Caserta street, after having been in the old place where I tasted an excellent pizza. The new place is well organised, modern, functional and clean. Fast and friendly service. The pizza was certainly good, but it didn't give me that impression of excellence like the previous time. The dough was light and hydrated, but the seasoning didn't really impress me, not bad but not great either. I plan to return soon.

We had very high expectations, but only the price was high!
The place was cozy and cold (even too much), fast service but the pizza was not appreciated: rubbery crust, too many toppings on it and one of the pizzas was even raw!
Sore point: you can't reserve the table on the website for the location in Succivo!
