I've been going to Lionello's for years and can confirm that it's an excellent pizzeria. Among the fried foods, I recommend the potato croquettes (they're so good they seem homemade). Their cartwheel pizzas are fantastic. Huge and delicious. One small flaw that keeps me from giving it 5 stars: I don't think it's fair to pay 2 euros to the valet if I decide not to enter the car and leave it on the street. This should be reconsidered. Otherwise, an excellent pizzeria.

The pizza is really delicious. What I didn't like was the presence of an illegal parking attendant who demands €2 even if you park on the street (I even mentioned this to the cashier at the entrance, but whatever...). The service was a bit disorganized.

The highlight is definitely the service. The pizza was very good, not quite up to expectations, but certainly good. The dough was really excellent. Excellent.

Well-kept restaurant. I recommend eating outside when possible. Excellent pizza, starting with the impact and finishing with the distinct flavor of each ingredient. Decent fried food. Service is average; the restaurant is well-organized to handle a large crowd.

Top-notch pizza, light dough, expertly combined and presented ingredients, a wide selection of pizzas, waters, and beers; there's something for everyone. The staff is helpful and polite. Highly recommended!

I came back today and it was the best pizza I've ever eaten and they treated me very well.

I'd been wanting to try Lioniello's pizzeria for a while. We went during the week at 8:30 PM, and a table for two was immediately assigned to us without a wait. What can I say? The location is truly stunning, with attention to every detail. The modern and spacious atmosphere. Expectations were amply rewarded; I can say that everything we ordered was delicious. The fried foods were truly delicious, from the crocche to the classic frittatina, and finally the truly flavorful pulled pork. The Margherita a ruota di carro (carrot wheel) was very light, and the diavola (devil's pizza) was also excellent. Prices were reasonable for the quality you get. For me, one of the best culinary experiences.

THE PIZZA WAS GOOD, BUT THE STONE WAS A LITTLE LESS. The experience was positive overall, except for one unpleasant incident. When the pizzas arrived in the middle of dinner, we found a stone on our plate (I presume from the wood or the oven). We immediately pointed it out to the waiter, who promptly took it to the kitchen or oven area to have it examined and confirmed that it came from the wood. I was immediately asked if I wanted a change of pizza, but we were already halfway through, and it would have been a waste to have another one delivered that we would have then left behind and therefore thrown away. The risk was huge, because biting into a stone would have caused me serious problems. In conclusion, I would have expected some consideration for the final bill, not because of the money but simply because of the awareness of the risk involved. (For the record, what we would have saved, we would have tipped the waiters.)
