Pizzeria Papanostro In Roma

I celebrated my birthday at Papanostro. We had a great time, the pizzas were fantastic. They also took care of the cake. They were able to accommodate my requests (type, lettering, etc.) even on short notice, and it was delicious. The service was excellent. Kind and professional. They even took care of the cutting. I'd also add that it was excellent value for money. Recommended!

I'm echoing the last review because the controversy was over the fact that prices weren't listed on the menu. If anyone had wanted to attack you, given the current regulations, I don't think you'd be right. I'm attaching the receipt so the paper can stand on its own merits...

I went to this pizzeria, attracted by the gluten-free pizza, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed for two reasons: 1. Gluten-free dishes aren't on the menu. So I thought they were the same price as the others. However, when I got the bill, I realized they were more expensive. For example, a regular bufalina pizza cost €10, while the gluten-free one cost €14. Quite a difference, I'd say, not to mention it! 2. The same problem occurred with dessert. We were shown some desserts that weren't on the menu, and when we paid, we discovered that the price was a whopping €7 for a "millefeuille" described as having Chantilly cream, but it actually had just whipped cream. A real disappointment in terms of value for money! I definitely won't be returning.

Excellent fried food and the pizza is super for those like me who prefer it thin, crunchy and topped right to the edge.

I've been to this typical Roman pizzeria and I can only say: an excellent experience in every way! The place has an authentic and welcoming atmosphere, simple yet refined, just as you'd expect from a true Roman pizzeria. The aroma of the wood-fired oven greets you as soon as you enter and immediately makes you hungry! The pizza is amazing: thin, crispy, cooked to perfection in the wood-fired oven, with fresh, quality ingredients. I tried the Margherita and the Papanostro, the place's signature pizza, truly spectacular. The fried foods are also worth trying: hot supplì, crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, as per tradition. Impeccable service: friendly, fast, and always smiling staff who make you feel at home. Excellent value for money. The Neapolitan pizza arrived undercooked. I really don't like this crust, but the calzone was well cooked and delicious. Slow service.

The service was impeccable, the fried foods were excellent, and the pizza dough could be improved. The ingredients were excellent. It was a shame it was so noisy that it made it difficult to talk comfortably, and we were out of the way.
