Historic family restaurant with truly excellent food, well served. It feels like being in the family. The tasty veal was fantastic, the caprese was very good as was the sautéed escarole. God willing, we'll be back!

Had lunch for two. tasty and genuine food. As soon as we entered the owner told us he had problems with the POS (exactly correct). The mozzarella in carrozza is a must try. when they talk about "tourist traps" know that this is not the case! fast and courteous service, clean, well-kept location and above all... low prices for being in the historic center a stone's throw from the Royal Palace.

Traveling to Caserta to see the Royal Palace, I stumbled upon this pizzeria by chance on Saturday evening. A wonderful discovery, I had a wonderful Margherita pizza, light, well seasoned, scented with basil and good oil. Then I had a pasta omelette and a bruschetta with cherry tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella. I was extremely satisfied. Special appreciation for the two boys who served us with kindness and great education. Truly a wonderful place, in fact I also returned on Sunday for lunch (margherita pizza, pasta omelette and mozzarella in carrozza - everything was too good, I have no words!!) before taking the train back home. If you don't go, you're missing out on a truly unique opportunity to enjoy quality. Highly recommended!

We ate very simple things, sausage and black pork steak and salad, nothing to say. The service was fast, the staff courteous, the prices right.

05/01/2025: I ordered pizzas to be delivered to my home. Excellent service, courteous and ready to satisfy needs. Very punctual, keeping their promises. Excellent pizza, including the very soft croquettes. I highly recommend.

Il Pinguino da Giovanni e Teresa

19/03/2025: Il Pinguino restaurant in Cellole (Ce) is an ideal place to meet and eat very well. Praise to the fish, which is served excellently and to their pizza and variation of doughs. Try the seafood au gratin, the spaghetti with sautéed clams and the seafood scialatielli. TOP the pizza with sausage and broccoli. I recommend embellishing the room by inserting some nice plants and some slightly softer lighting.
22/12/2024: The pizza is one of the best in the area in my opinion. Very light, excellent quality ingredients and super in line prices. Furthermore, the waiters and the pizza chef were very courteous, which is not a given nowadays. As soon as I can, I will definitely be back!
