We had already spotted this restaurant several times during our walks in the magnificent Cetara, but it was always full. Luckily, we were able to book via Instagram yesterday, and I can assure you that they responded immediately. Obviously, we contacted them just before opening time for lunch. The location of the restaurant is excellent, a stone's throw from Cetara beach. The food selection is good, not too dispersive, even if it ranges from seafood appetizers to first courses, second courses, up to pizza and desserts, following a logical thread with the famous Cetara anchovies as protagonists. Finally, the price of the wines is super honest, something that most of the other restaurants on the coast and peninsula have not understood.
Upon arrival we were greeted by Anna. Initially we thought she was the owner, but instead she was a very good and competent waitress. He suggested some excellent appetizers, making us try crostini with butter and anchovies, anchovy meatballs with raisins, golden and fried anchovies with provola, and the anchovy parmigiana, which was fantastic. Then we continued with fried anchovies, calamari and prawns; however, I was a little disappointed because the calamari was not crispy and quite tasteless (I GAVE THE SAME 5 STARS TO THE FOOD BECAUSE IT WAS A SIMPLE MISTAKE IN THE KITCHEN, BUT QUIETLY FIXABLE). Finally, we closed with an excellent "A Modo Mio" pizza with anchovies, onions and grated salted ricotta, truly very tasty. There was no room for the dessert that the talented Anna had suggested to us, a decomposed cannoli, but we will certainly return to taste it.
The price of all those courses, including water, cover charge and wine, was €82. I would say that for the location, the service, the location and above all the quality of the food, it is very honest. Many restaurants should take example from you; The era of fleecing tourists or customers in general by giving second quality products at stratospheric prices and not at all in less popular areas is over. CONGRATULATIONS, WE WILL SEE YOU SOON!!!

What can I say... I could start from the welcome, the politeness, kindness and lots and lots of professionalism in offering and presenting simple dishes, evidence of the local culinary tradition. It didn't take long to feel at home. I will return as soon as possible.

Horrible rude waitress. Clearly hates tourists. The food looked rubbish - deep fried fish, and basic packet dried spaghetti.

Very nice place in the center of Cetara a stone's throw from the beach. We ordered a Cetara mixed fried dish, delicious and plentiful, perfect to divide in two, and then two "Cetara" pizzas with Cetara tuna fillets, which makes this pizza unique and special!!! We waited a long time before sitting down but it was worth it! Kind staff and Mrs. Anna was really attentive because she saw that we were waiting and updated us on the timing, too nice! Excellent value for money!!! Highly recommended!

We spent an evening full of excellent food and great courtesy from the staff. The waitress Anna was helpful, polite and very nice. We recommend everyone to come and we will certainly be back.

The food here is Italian simplicity at its best, pizza and pasta to die for! The tomato sauce they use for some of the dishes is just amazing, although the same is probably true of a lot of places in this region that use good ingredients.
Unfortunately have to echo a lot of similar comments here about the unfriendly waitress, perhaps she's just hostile to non local people but either way it really detracts from what could be a perfect little restaurant. Real shame though as it costs nothing to be nice!
