We celebrated our 18th birthday at the Madison, and everything was perfect. Special thanks to Marco, the manager, for his helpfulness, kindness, and attention to detail. Compliments also to all the staff, always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Excellent organization, friendly and competent staff, excellent fried foods. Unfortunately, the pizza chef this evening wasn't up to par with the excellent ingredients; one pizza had a burnt piece the size of a closed fist and was undercooked underneath, another had a nice hole and was undercooked underneath, a shame considering the excellent quality of the ingredients.

But if I make a reservation for a table at a specific time, why do you then put me on the list where you probably also have those without reservations, and make me wait another hour? It's easier to say that there are no reservations, except for large tables. Then, the bathrooms: women are very pleased to find one stocked with sanitary pads, for emergencies, but you could have put a bin to throw them away, don't you think? There wasn't one, neither inside nor outside the bathroom. Aside from these two organizational criticisms of the place, I recommend it because the waiters are very quick and the food is extraordinary. If you address the two constructive criticisms above, I'll be more likely to return.

Attention and quality. Impeccable place, friendly staff (thanks Marco!), the pizza is truly top-notch, everything is super thoughtful and welcoming. We found it while looking for gluten-free options, and they excel at that too. The bottled IPA with the house label is absolutely top-notch. Sincere compliments, we'll be back!

✅ Pizza with a very light crust. I can honestly say it's one of the few pizzerias where I can eat pizza without having any digestive issues. ❌The only thing I didn't like so much, but this is subjective, was that since we went to eat early, the waitresses were constantly standing in front of our table, staring at us (obviously, there wasn't much of a crowd in the upstairs dining room yet). I don't like being watched while I'm eating and chatting about my own business, because in that case I felt a bit of a lack of privacy.

Clarification: they seated us "on the terrace," and that's probably where most of the damage comes from. There's no internal connection to the main room on the ground floor, where the ovens are located, but the food has to travel quite a distance. Therefore, 1. Both the fried foods and pizzas arrive significantly late, cold at the table, probably due to the inefficient service, which saw the food sit outside the ovens for a few extra minutes; 2. You ask for two additional beers or a bottle of water from a waiter who takes it back to the meter with a handheld device, who passes the order to someone else, but the items you ordered don't arrive until 5-10 minutes later, when you remind another waiter who comes by and listens to you. The same goes for the third of the three desserts ordered all at the same time: the first course arrives, the second course arrives, and the third course arrives a good 10 minutes later, after you complain to yet another waiter passing by that the order hasn't arrived. The price is steep: €30 per person for a fried dish (croquettes or pasta frittata), a pizza, and a dessert.
