Pizzeria Lievito Reale In Casagiove

While visiting the beautiful Royal Palace of Caserta, we found ourselves at this pizzeria across from the hotel we booked. The area is very well served and is about 800 meters from the Royal Palace. The staff was kind and courteous, so much so that even after a short wait, they would come to our table to check on us. That said, the pizzas were delicious and light. We ordered several flavors, and the prices were more than fair. Finally, we ordered the straccetti with Nutella, which were truly delicious. In short, if I were in the area again, I would definitely go back!

If you're vegan or vegetarian, you can't miss it. The turbaned chef awaits you with sweetness and smiles, leading you to eat with your eyes, nose, and mouth on a tasteful journey through simple dishes, made with garden produce, carefully sourced and assembled with love and skill. Pizza for every taste, a crumbly dough that melts in your mouth. You'll have to try it to believe it.

We had a great time. Classic Neapolitan pizza. Very good, you can taste the use of quality ingredients and the attention to preparation and cooking. Recommended.

A simple restaurant, both in terms of its furnishings and layout, located next to the road leading to the Royal Palace. Street parking is free but difficult to find. The menu features classic appetizers, as well as some aguzzi and fried dishes. We ordered two arancini. Two pizzas, one with four cherry tomatoes and the other with "Ricordi di infanzia" (Childhood Memories), water and beer, were €40. The pizza was good and the service was quick.

I'll start by saying that the pizza is very good, and from that perspective, I recommend it, even if the price is a bit high in my opinion. However, the main reason I went to this pizzeria was the much-touted vegan options. This is where I was very disappointed: they only offer three pizzas, including a marinara (even though it has multiple types of tomatoes, it's still a marinara), and the appetizers, which looked very interesting, weren't available for lunch (None of the three!!!). The information wasn't mentioned anywhere. Another drawback was the incredibly long wait for the pizza, despite the place being half-empty. Therefore, I advise vegans who decide to dine here to call to check if the dishes designed for them are available.

We went last night, everything was perfect. We had a generous portion of fries, four focaccias/bruschettas with tomato sauce, a stuffed zucchini flower, two beers, two pizzas, and a bottle of water. The ingredients were of the highest quality. The care and attention of the young man who served us was truly commendable. The prices were normal for a Caserta pizzeria. We definitely want to return.

We were passing through Caserta and came across this pizzeria. I appreciated the attention to very interesting vegan and vegetarian options (there's even a mid-August menu). What we ordered was very good and carefully prepared, both the pizza, the Greek salad, and the fried vegan zucchini flowers. Highly recommended.
