Pizzeria L'Antico Portone In Tortoreto

We visited this place in the middle of August, at the height of tourist traffic in beautiful Tortoreto, and we ate a truly delicious pan pizza. Crispy, well-leavened, and filled with top-quality ingredients. From the moment we booked over the phone, we were greeted with great courtesy, friendliness, and helpfulness from the entire staff, though a special mention goes to the owner, who is a charming man and a wonderful gentleman with children. Hi everyone, we had dinner at this lovely restaurant in the center of Tortoreto Alto. The pizza by the meter was delicious. You can choose from a variety of flavors, and a special mention goes to the Rustica and Tartufo e Porcini mushrooms, which were delicious. The staff was very friendly. Highly recommended.

Excellent pizza, unique flavors, friendly and helpful staff. I recommend it. Back for the second time in August 2025 with different friends, and upon request, to enjoy the fabulous light and digestible pizza a pala with various flavors to choose from. Ordered twice to try all the top flavors. Friendly and professional staff. Fabrizio and Daniele, the owners, are always available. Congratulations!!!

We stopped one night in Tortoreto and ate at Fabrizio's, an honest and down-to-earth guy. The pizza at Antico Portone is really good, thin and crispy, and reasonably priced. A very cute little place, right in the center. The only minor flaw is a few more Ascoli olives.

Went last night with friends, after booking of course given the time of year. The welcome and hospitality were absolutely excellent. The wait was a bit long, but it was worth it...the pizza was excellent, light and well-topped. Thanks to Fabrizio and his staff, who are kind and friendly and have that extra something that makes you feel at home. 😘

Although pizza by the slice is a must at many local restaurants, I have to say that such a crispy, shallow pizza was a novelty. The dough is very light, clearly leavened for a long time, and the toppings are high-quality. We would have preferred to eat outside, but despite a reservation, we were only able to dine inside. The downside: the wait. After we sat down, it took almost half an hour before we could order; fortunately, they stopped by to ask what we wanted to drink (too bad it ran out before the food arrived). After ordering the pizza by the slice, it took about another half an hour before we were served our food. The prices for the pizza by the slice are perhaps a little higher than the average I've visited so far.

The four of us ate the meter-long pizza. It was certainly good, no doubt about it, but we weren't thrilled. The service was good, very friendly.

The pizza always lives up to its tradition. We ate 1.40 meters. Quick and precise service. The owner is always available and helpful.

Saliti a Tortoreto alto per una boccata d'aria aria, abbiamo trovato questa pizzeria lungo la via del centro. Ottima pizza, personale gentilissimo e simpatico. Porzioni pizza abbondante. Pizza leggera e sottile ottime le combinazioni. Locale da provare per un'esperienza pizza.

Pizzeria eccezionale, prodotti di prima scelta e da buon napoletano , consiglio questa pizza davvero buona e mi complimento per la cordialità e la professionalità mostratomi dalla Dayana, la quale con cordiale professionalità mi ha consigliato ottimamente, lasciando che potessi gustare le eccezionalità della casa, per il piacere delle mie papille gustative.
