Pizza by the meter, ordered the suggested quantity and it was perfect.
All five diners left full and satisfied with the quality and quantity.
Spent just under €20 each.

I come to this place at least once a year, unfortunately this year I didn't find the same excellent pizza as usual, it was heavier and less crumbly than the previous standard, I hope it was just a bad day, for the rest everything is ok

Quiet place located on the main street of Tortoreto Alto, very charming, friendly and smiling staff, very eye-catching and beautiful to look at and good to eat, well cooked and well leavened, we will definitely return to this place.

We visited this place in the middle of August, at the height of tourist traffic in beautiful Tortoreto, and we ate a truly delicious pan pizza. Crispy, well-leavened, and filled with top-quality ingredients. From the moment we booked over the phone, we were greeted with great courtesy, friendliness, and helpfulness from the entire staff, though a special mention goes to the owner, who is a charming man and a wonderful gentleman with children. Hi everyone, we had dinner at this lovely restaurant in the center of Tortoreto Alto. The pizza by the meter was delicious. You can choose from a variety of flavors, and a special mention goes to the Rustica and Tartufo e Porcini mushrooms, which were delicious. The staff was very friendly. Highly recommended.

I recommend it.
Back for the second time in August 2025 with different friends, and upon request, to enjoy the fabulous light and digestible pizza a pala with various flavors to choose from.
Ordered twice to try all the top flavors.

We stopped one night in Tortoreto and ate at Fabrizio's, an honest and down-to-earth guy. The pizza at Antico Portone is really good, thin and crispy, and reasonably priced. A very cute little place, right in the center. The only minor flaw is a few more Ascoli olives.

Went last night with friends, after booking of course given the time of year.
The welcome and hospitality were absolutely excellent. The wait was a bit long, but it was worth it...the pizza was excellent, light and well-topped.
Thanks to Fabrizio and his staff, who are kind and friendly and have that extra something that makes you feel at home. 😘
