Ever since I was a child, Ternana pizza by the slice has always been one of my favorite snacks. I still remember the roast chicken that hung in the window, it's no longer there, but the business hasn't changed much in 40 years.

I was born and raised there in the market area..and La Terni has always been part of our life..for breakfast or a snack..sometimes both..and I still remember that handsome gentleman with graying hair..I've been back there after a lifetime..and it's still home..same place.same pizza.it couldn't be any better..and the children and grandchildren of the handsome grizzled gentleman..kind, friendly and very quick in clearing the queue at the Ternana never fails!! Too good at preserving and continuing his life's work..Fantastic!!! 💪💪👏👏🤟😍

La pizzeria della tradizione Civitavecchiese per eccellenza. Sorvolando il fatto che sia un istituzione e che intere generazioni portino con se il ricordo di una merenda sul muretto adiacente al locale... posso dire solo che se vuoi conoscere la città e le sue usanze non puoi perdere una tappa qui. La pizza è croccante, direi biscottata in molte sue varianti, dalla classica Margherita alla coperta con cotto, dalle patate a i fiori di zucca e alici.... con un occhio negli ultimi anni a valide integrazioni delle ricette, da non perdere la ripiena con tonno, pomodoro fresco, cipolla fresca e maionese... in oltre la classica ripiena con mortadella. Poi amatriciana con guanciale e pecorino, mortadella,stracciatella e pistacchio. Se ci farete un salto accontenterà ogni palato e vi assicuro che ne vale la pena! UN MUST!

We stumbled upon this nice little restaurant that was crowded with a lot of people eating their pizza so we quickly took interest and decided to give their food a try. For around 3,50 euro, you get a decently big slice of pizza that is folded and then wrapped in paper to make it easier to eat and walk at the same time. They make it so convenient to eat because this place doesn't have any chairs so you have to eat standing up or just continue walking to another destination. The place right outside the shop isn't super clean though which makes a lot of flies gather and they are definitely annoying while you are trying to eat in peace. The food itself was amazing. The thin flaky thin crust was delicious and the flavours from their tomato sauce only made it better. Since it was so thin, it made the pizza so much lighter and I really appreciate that. The service was also friendly, they served us the pizza rapidly which made it piping hot and the waiter was friendly and patient.
