The pizza was tasty, the place was nice, but the waiting time for service, pizza, and then the bill was exceptionally long. Before the service came to take the order, almost 30 minutes passed. We waited 20 minutes for the bill.

"La Rustica" is located by the sea, but not directly on the beach, but across the street, so you can't really call it a classic sea view. The decor is rather modern, so you can't really call it cozy. When the restaurant is fully booked, it's incredibly loud. This was a bit too much even for the Italians living in Trapani, who are certainly used to a different noise level than I am. Service: When we ate at "La Rustica," the restaurant was completely packed. There were 18 people at our table alone, plus another birthday party and a few smaller tables. However, the restaurant was well-prepared and well-staffed. So, there were never long waits for orders. You could tell the staff were under pressure, which is normal given the number of customers. The food arrived promptly at our tables. - 4/5 Food: That day, I had a Pizza Diavola with spicy salami. What's particularly cool is that the pizza here is cut into several small squares that are almost bite-sized. This saves you the hassle of cutting. The salami tasted very good, and all the other ingredients were well-chosen. For a 5-star pizza, the crust was a bit too thick for me, but that's a matter of taste, of course. Personally, I prefer a thin crust and crispy crust. - 4/5 Value for money: A very good pizza for under €10. I don't think much needs to be said about the value for money here. In Germany, I would certainly have added at least €4 on top. - 5/5 Conclusion: A very good pizza that I can recommend without reservation at a reasonable price. For a romantic meal or if you want to have a good conversation, I would rather go to another location; it's just too loud. Add dinner after a visit to the beach? Perfect. - 4/5
