I still dream of panzerotti from Maddalena. It's been almost twenty years since I last tasted it. Mizzica!

Excellent pizzeria and chip shop in the heart of the Carrassi district. The panzerotti in particular, both fried and baked, are beautiful and substantial... a real delight. The service is quite quick, even on a Saturday evening, and if you order takeaway there is the possibility of sitting on chairs outside the restaurant. It's ideal if you want to grab something on the go.
