Pizzeria La Darsena In Livorno

Intimate and welcoming place, friendly staff, the cake is delicious!

Classic place in Livorno and famous for chickpea pie and pizza, we had excellent expectations. Good pizza, perhaps too full of mozzarella but it depends on your taste and stomach. I also found the chickpea cake too salty, and I was very perplexed by the 4 slices of aubergines at a cost of 4.50 euros (I attach photos). The sore point was the service: too much waiting for the cake as an appetizer (40 minutes) and the same for the pizza (same timing), and not very attentive staff, having had to ask for the bread to be brought to us after 25 minutes and judging by the complaints received from nearby tables. I'm really sorry, but I don't think I'll be back.

Mai mangiato una cecina più buona! Per non parlare delle pizze, una più buona dell'altra, ben condite e con ingredienti di ottima qualità! Inoltre il locale è carino, pulito, climatizzato ed il personale gentile e cordiale.

Never eaten a better cecina! Not to mention the pizzas, one better than the other, well seasoned and with excellent quality ingredients! Furthermore, the place is nice, clean, air conditioned and the staff are kind and friendly.
