I absolutely loved the Milanese cutlet!!!!

We had 2 breaded turkey cutlets, inedible, hard as rocks and dry. Definitely not cooked freshly. The sole were 2 micro soles. And the tagliarini were lasagna. On the other hand, he (the owner) served us some stale extra dry prosecco, which had already turned an amber color, but for him it was fine, we had it changed, much to his disappointment. To tell the truth, however, the pepper beef was good. But it seemed like a truly miserable dinner for the place it pretends to be. All for the paltry cost of €130 plus the pizza afterwards. Not to be repeated!

"Il Ragno" da Domenico is Lido degli Estensi! A true institution for those who love the taste of simple, authentic dishes. No frills or flashy presentations...just substance, and what substance!!! Excellent fish and amazing meat (the Fiorentina steak is always recommended). In the evening, they also serve delicious wood-fired pizza. Anyone who hasn't eaten at Il Ragno...can't say they know Lido degli Estensi. N.B.) Try the shrimp cutlets (made to order only)...you'll eat something sublime. Generous portions and below-average prices. Absolutely trustworthy.

Thank goodness it reopened, as soon as I free myself from some commitments I'll rush there. The Florentine steaks I tasted there last summer made me relive those fantastic steaks I ate in Val d'Elsa and Val di Chiana when I went there for work.
