I found it by chance, searching on Maps for a pizzeria nearby... there are hundreds, I chose this one. Small but well-organized place, the guy who served us, Francesco, was very kind and knowledgeable... I had the pizza he recommended, fried pizza and baked parmigiana, I highly recommend it, my husband had the ortolana a ruota di carro.

Excellent pizzeria. I've been there before. What sets them apart? Their politeness and helpfulness. Leaving aside the fact that each pizza has its own unique flavor and they always offer off-menu options because they want you to savor the flavors of the current season, this alone tells you the passion they put into their work, always offering flavors that aren't new, but are as authentic as possible in an increasingly consumerist world. But what I want to highlight is their politeness, starting with the master pizza chef and continuing with the entire staff. We were in a hurry; I had to leave for work, and in no time at all, the four requested pizzas were on the table, despite there being people inside and outside the restaurant. Excellent. Delicious.

Great experience at Il Folletto pizzeria in Casagiove! We had a Margherita 3.0, an Ortolana, and a focaccia with tomato, arugula, and parmesan shavings: all delicious. Light dough and fresh ingredients. Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

Finally, a "serious" pizza. Everywhere I go, I find mini pizzas with 60-square-meter crusts, as tall as the Mose in Venice. For the first time, after seeing absurd pizzas around, with unrealistic dimensions and appearance (due to fashion or the herd syndrome affecting the now numerous contemporary canoe manufacturers), I've found one like they used to make: that is, "serious" (in weight and quality), with sizes that meet expectations, delicious flavors and ingredients, and decidedly reasonable prices for the quality offered. The service is good, and the wait staff is very friendly. The place isn't huge, but it's well-distributed. A truly wonderful discovery.

01/11/2025: I was at this pizzeria a couple of weeks ago. Everything was delicious, the staff were friendly. The only flaw was that I ordered a crocche, which arrived practically at the same time as the pizzas, unlike my friends whose frittatas were brought much earlier, and consequently I didn't eat it since the pizza arrived at the same time. Maybe it was also due to the chaos, but if you bring the pizzas you complete the table, not first two at one table and then three at another. Leaving aside this inconvenience, I recommend it. I don't think it's a wheelchair accessible place from what I saw. Otherwise, I repeat, everything was delicious and I will be back.

19/11/2025: As part of our travel around Italy we decided we had to try Pepe's pizza and were not disappointed. The dough was light and fluffy with a crispy exterior. The fried pizzas were not greasy and all the ingredients tasted fresh. Try the Vesuvio apricot fried dessert pizza and of course not to be missed is the Margharita Spagliata pizza with it's delicious ricco tomato puree. As it happened we stayed nearby at La Sbecciatrice apartment in Villa Santa Croce owned by the farmer that produces the ricco tomato puree used at Pepe e Grani. All in all it was a great experience that we hope to repeat.
