I stopped for a pizza at lunchtime, and I have to say that the quality was truly excellent, the dough was really light and it was delicious to eat.

Found by chance during my camper excursions, a very pleasant surprise, very good pizza and a very special atmosphere, especially the tables under the porch.

20/01/2026: A must-try because it's the only place open in Pianello on a Saturday for lunch. Overall, so-so. The Batarö wasn't bad, very large, but not comparable to the ones in Sala Mandelli or Roccapulzana. The cured meats were good. The Focaccia di Recco, on the other hand, was forgettable; it was two pizzas stacked on top of each other with a bit of crescenza cheese in between, nothing like the real Recco focaccia. Maybe try the first courses and the gnocco fritto. Service was unfriendly and inattentive.
28/12/2025: The bataró were good, the pizza was also good and the food was very pleasant, we ate some excellent turtei!

07/09/2025: The location is very interesting. Service is friendly but slow and a bit imprecise. Food is average.
13/08/2025: Perhaps the most beautiful summer venue if you're staying in the city. Located beneath the historic walls of the public promenade, it extends along the length of the square, accessible from the end of Corso Italia or from the Faxhall parking lot. Divided into two areas, a pizzeria/restaurant and a lounge serving aperitivo and after-dinner drinks, often featuring themed evenings and DJs. The food and cocktails are of the highest quality. The young staff and well-maintained location include awnings in case of rain and plants to protect from the summer heat. LED lighting highlights the splendid historic walls. Disabled access and impeccable restrooms are available.
