Maybe I went to a different pizzeria than the one mentioned in the other reviews, but my pizza wasn't very flavorful (even though it was potatoes and sausage). Aside from that, even though we had a reservation, before the dessert arrived, the owner told us to hurry up because there were people waiting... Honestly, that had never happened to me, not even in places with shifts, and I found it decidedly rude.

I'm really happy I tried this pizzeria. The welcome was great, the atmosphere truly friendly, and the Roman pizzas are top-notch in terms of leavening, ingredients, and cooking. I personally tried the one with provola, zucchini flowers, and sausage, and it was fabulous. Congratulations, and I'll be back soon, even with my son, who ate and enjoyed much more than just one pizza, despite being only 10 years old... the taste was the winner.

After this pizzeria changed management, I told myself I'd give it a try, and luckily, on December 18th, I went for dinner here. The place immediately appears bright, clean, and tidy: not rustic, but extremely familiar, with a well-defined identity. We were greeted by a young man who led us to a table, and we immediately noticed the presence of non-disposable cloth napkins, something always appreciated and never taken for granted. The second extremely positive note was the young woman who served us: extremely friendly, always smiling. Even though we realized she hadn't been working there long, she still did an excellent job, accompanying us throughout the evening with advice and accommodating our every request and clarification. Much of my positive experience is also thanks to her. For the appetizer, we opted for classic supplì, which we thoroughly enjoyed: the breading wasn't overpowering or overly crispy, and most importantly, there were no traces of cooking oil on the plate, a sign that they were properly "dried" after frying. The sauce inside was very flavorful and tasty, without a trace of acidity. The mozzarella was perfectly melted, a testament to proper cooking, being extremely stringy and piping hot inside. But the true masterpiece is undoubtedly the pizza. There are many excellent pizzerias in the neighborhood, but this one reaches the highest levels. The pizza is thin, crunchy, well-leavened, and cooked to perfection. The dough certainly starts with a base of about 180 grams because, despite its thinness, with all the ingredients, it turns out to be a filling meal. The ingredients are fresh, in just the right amount, and without trying to overwhelm the pizza, either visually or in terms of flavor, maintaining a perfect balance. It's probably the best pizza in the neighborhood. We also had the tiramisu, which was very good, perhaps just a little too cold, but that's a personal preference. The total cost was 50 euros, absolutely in line with the overall experience.

Excellent pizzeria, a guarantee. The supplì are truly excellent, as good as homemade, with amazing rice and truly light and fragrant fried food. The thin, light Roman pizzas are topped with top-quality ingredients (the vegetables on the ortolana are incredibly fresh, and the buffalo mozzarella on the Margherita is excellent). We arrived at 9:30 PM on Sunday and the place was completely packed, but they welcomed us with great kindness, offering us to order and then go home where they would deliver. Within a quarter of an hour, we had our pizzas delivered, hot and truly delicious!!! We were truly amazed by such service, even though the place was packed. Thank you and...well done!! Da Marcello, both in Rome and Nettuno, has become an institution. Fried food and pizzas are always excellent, and the quality is consistent. Marcello, his partners, and the staff are friendly and professional. Convenient location, with discounted parking about 100 meters from the pizzeria. Recommended.

Last night we were at Marcello's with friends. The place is spacious, warm, well-furnished, welcoming, and quiet. The waiters are prompt, kind, and polite. The service is fast and professional. The fried food is amazing, made in all its countless variations. From supplì with oxtail stew to soft and flavorful croquettes, from zucchini flowers to battered porchetta, from artichokes alla giudia to fried artichokes... an explosion of new, authentic, and original flavors, while maintaining the tradition of good Roman food intact. The beers, both light and dark, are excellent. The pizzas, too. Thin, crispy, well-cooked, and topped with quality ingredients that are truly delicious. The desserts are also excellent!! The prices are very good, honest, and competitive, both for the quality of the product served and for the welcoming location, with spaces optimally managed and spaced apart for excellent privacy. Finally, a place where you can talk without having to raise your voice to be understood!! Here, people...
