Trattoria-Snack Bar-Pizzeria by the slice and wood-fired oven in the evenings where the food is excellent. Typical Roman first courses are better than many renowned restaurants. Fresh fish and prime meats (steaks, tagliata, sirloin). Reservations are recommended as it's always busy.

A classic, unpretentious diner, with affordable prices, good service (though not particularly fast), and generous portions. I found the carbonara lacking in bite (not much pecorino and very little pepper) and slightly overcooked for those who prefer their spaghetti al dente. Delicious desserts and generous portions. But still, a great option for a business lunch on a budget.
